Here, we have the facility for businesses to introduce themselves and also if you’re looking for help with digital signage, then the forum is the place to search and post. This community is based on helping one another, so head out to the forum and get involved…share your thoughts and help your fellow digital signage businesses.

Secondly, the myBlog facility allows members to submit posts (yes…. PR articles and anything you would like to share with others). Sometimes maintaining a blog website can be a challenging and tedious process, so we’ve done the hard work for you so start posting now. All you have to do is login, click Write a post in your user menu located on the left hand column and start posting!!! Here’s a few example of what people have submitted:

Will digital signage businesses survive during this economic downfall?

This question has been on my mind this past week and I’ve been wondering whether digital signage businesses have been impacted from this economic downfall.

After speaking to several people about this topic I came to the understanding that out of all the departments in a company, the marketing team would be the first group to go. The marketing team generally spends money to make money so this is one of the main reason why a business would strategically decrease the head count of this department. What this may potentially mean for digital signage companies is that less marketing people would look for spending money in deploying digital signage solutions even thought the solution may increase sales and profit (needs to be qualified and quantified).

We haven’t felt the wave yet in Australia but I’m sure that it will hit us any time soon.

What are your thoughts on this? Visit the digital signage portal forum to discuss further.

Digital Signage Portal – Forum new look

We have recently updated the look of our digital signage portal forum. Below is a screen shot:

Digital signage portal - Forum new look

Our main aims for the forum are to:

  • share digital signage knowledge with others
  • discuss about various topics in the digital signage industry
  • centralise support related questions for products we support and sell – for example we just posted the following forum items; How do I upgrade the firmware on the NDSP-500?, Help, my NDSP-500 is no longer working. One person found this really helpful, as it provided some assistance to fixing problem.
  • provide a forum facility for digital signage manufacturers that don’t host their own forums

Registration is free. Please note, posting or replying to threads is only permitted for registered members.
