3D modelling and animation – content for digital signage
If you’ve seen the movie Avatar then you should know that I’m refeering to when I mention about 3D. Yes, 3D technology is now becoming more affordable but importantly its catching the attention of the digital signage industry. Various screen manufacturers have released 3D screens that do not require the use of 3D glasses. As more of these screens are being installed in retails stores or corporate offices, businesses will need 3D content to place on these screens.

Stereoscopic 3D for digital signage is really catching on. N4D’s 20 years of perception research has been developed into patented processes for creating 3D content creation or 2D to 3D conversion. We are currently in talks with digital signage networks to provide 3D content as well as no-glasses-needed 3D displays.
It appears that the ArtDuck product is 2.5 D (or some call it CAD drawing 3D) in that it gives a great appearance of depth but only inside the screen and is not designed to be projected stereoscopically beyond the screen plane.
