Hey, although I know it tends to be bad form to revive old threads, I did want to say that there is a new solution for digital signage in dental offices. If you're interested in a fun way to entertain your patients, without advertising (shocking I know), then you should check out Dr. Know's Waiting Room TV, its a fun and innovative way to entertain your patients while they're in the office.

I think that is a great idea! I just had a root canal a few months ago and I was thinking then how nice it would be to have a TV screen to pass the time. I have been to dentists in the past that offered movies, but a lot of the time there is very limited choice. I think a combination of Digital Signage (using scrolls and side bars for advertising) and a digital movie server would be ideal. Allow the patient to select their content and give them some nice headphones to hear. The Dentist could have some sort of mute button so he could speak with the patient when needed.....
