Hello again, DS guys:

Thank you for creating that new thread about signs in the medical profession on your digital signage forum. I've tried to set up an account so I can participate there, but have yet to receive the confirming e-mail. Does it always take 24 hours for those to arrive?

Hi don,

No problem, we are more than happy to help - after all that's why we created this blog.

Glad that everything worked out. Funnily enough, we are currently trialling the scala software and watched some of their video marketing material and it's quite impressive. Although we haven't completely grasped all the tools and features in the Scala Designer software yet, we'll keep playing over the next few weeks.

I'm pretty sure the Scala team will be more than happy for you to interview them. Let us know when you've completed the interview and if we are happy with it we'll publish it on our blog.

As I think about this some more, maybe this would make a good topic for a post to my blog. It's been a while since I wrote a fresh post. I wonder if the people at Scala would consent to an interview?

Whoa! Thank you Bonnie. You just helped me hit the jackpot! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. And Scala is located right around the corner from my house. Small world. This is hard to believe. I really enjoyed reading the case study about the chain of clinics in the Ohio River valley. Has anything similar been done in the Delaware River valley? If so, I'd be interested in reading (or writing) the case study. I'm wondering if this might be a way to build on my background in medical communication as well as my current position in the sign industry.

Hey Digital Signage Blog guys: THANK YOU for creating this blog. You just did me a great service. You helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and it was right under my nose all along!

Don,

You may also be interested in what Scala does with digital signage. We have information on uses in healthcare here: http://www.scala.com/markets/healthcare-digital-signage.html which include a couple brief case studies.

Thanks.

Hi don,

You've raised a good point about the potential uses of digital signage in the medical profession and we have started a thread on the digital signage portal http://www.digitalsignageportal.com/Digital-Signage-Forum/Digital-Signage-Help/81-Digital-Signage-in-the-Medical-Industry.html to talk about this topic and have asked our forum members to provide with some feedback.

Feel free to join the conversation.

Hey

Do you guys know anything about medical signs? That is, hospital signs, clinic signs, medical banners, other ways signage is used in the medical profession? I've got a background in the medical communication business (writing and editing) but find myself working in the sign business. I'm trying to marry the two interests. Curious to find out more about medical signage, if it even exists.

Thanks!
