Digital Signage: Beverly Hills 90210

I was flicking through the various TV channels today and I ended up stumbling across the new comeback TV show “Beverly Hills 90210″. I must admit that back in my younger years I was a fan of the show I’m not sure about this new season, but the only reason why I kept watching till the end of the episode was that this new series showed a strong use of digital signage in the High School. It was pretty much everywhere – in front of doorways, in hallways, in the cafeteria and also inside the classrooms. It was primarily used as a communication tool for students but its use could be extended for advertising.

Even through this was just a TV show, it does give a good indication that there is a strong presence of digital signage in the education sector.
